WEB Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn was ejected just 153 into Game 3 for a cross-check to the neck of Golden Knights captain Mark Stone on Tuesday night. The Stars fell 4-0, putting them down 3-0 in the Western Conference Final.

The Stars defended Benn after the game, saying that he is a "clean player" and that the hit was not intentional. However, the NHL Department of Player Safety is expected to review the play and could suspend Benn for multiple games.
