Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Delaware and Syracuse University Law School. Starting in 1973, Biden served as a Senator from Delaware for 36 years, rising to become one of the Senate's most respected leaders. During his time in the Senate, Biden played a leading role in drafting legislation on issues such as crime prevention, drug policy, and violence against women. In 2008, Biden was elected as the 47th Vice President of the United States, serving under President Barack Obama. As Vice President, Biden played a key role in implementing the Affordable Care Act and overseeing the recovery from the Great Recession. In 2020, Biden was elected as the 46th President of the United States. He is the oldest person to ever serve as President.

Biden's Presidency

As President, Biden has focused on addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy, and climate change. He has also worked to restore America's standing in the world and to promote democracy and human rights.
